Ransomware
Network files are encrypted overnight. MIRRO’s dated snapshots let you go back to the day before the infection, folder by folder.
Windows backup · Automatic · Encrypted
MIRRO installs a quiet agent on your workstations and servers. It watches the folders that matter, sends only what changed, encrypts before uploading, and lets you restore any version, from any date you choose.
Last run
CompletedThe day it happens
Three ordinary scenarios. In all three, the only question that matters is: how old is the last clean copy?
Network files are encrypted overnight. MIRRO’s dated snapshots let you go back to the day before the infection, folder by folder.
A drive dies without warning. The machine is replaced and the data comes back from the vault — not from whatever the user remembered to copy.
A deleted folder, an overwritten document, noticed three weeks later. The earlier version is still there and comes back on its own.
How it works
The agent keeps re-evaluating your schedule. When a frequency comes due, the run happens with no intervention.
01
You define the frequencies: once, daily, weekly, monthly. The agent re-evaluates them at a regular interval and triggers whichever is due.
02
Every watched path is scanned, then compared to the server’s last known snapshot. Only files that actually changed are kept.
03
Selected files are grouped into size-capped compressed batches, then encrypted on the machine — before touching the network.
04
Each batch is uploaded with its manifest. Until a batch is confirmed, its files are not counted as backed up. Then the snapshot is updated.
What MIRRO does for you
Nothing exotic: the functions that actually matter when a server has to come back up.
Once, daily, weekly, monthly — per watched path, with a history of every trigger.
Compared against the server snapshot: a 200 GB folder doesn’t start from scratch every night.
Changed files are split into controlled-size packages so the client’s uplink never saturates.
Packages are streamed through encryption on the machine. If the key is missing, the agent stops instead of sending in the clear.
Every run leaves a dated state of the fleet. You restore to a date, not to “the last known state”.
One file, one folder or a whole machine — from the console, without pulling back the entire vault.
A report after each run: what went out, what failed, what still needs to be retried.
The tray icon pauses backup for a presentation or a trip, then resumes it.
Every run, every file and every failure is logged server-side and readable from the console.
Admin console
The console brings together companies, machines, watched paths and run history. At a glance you see who backed up last night — and who hasn’t backed up in three days.

On your side
MIRRO isn’t a cloud service rented by the month. The service and the vault install on a server inside your network: your files never leave it, and your bill doesn’t follow the growth of your data.
The service, its database and the vault run on your equipment, inside your network, behind your firewall. No copy of your files at a third party.
No monthly bill per gigabyte stored, no egress fee the day you restore. Storage costs what your disks cost.
Need more space or longer retention? You add disks — no plan to renegotiate, no next tier to wait for.
Restore
A backup that doesn’t restore isn’t a backup. MIRRO keeps a dated state after every run: you pick the date, the scope, the destination — and you verify. We encourage our clients to run that test at least once a year, and we walk through it with them.
Automatic startup, restart after failure, event log entries.
Key delivered wrapped at authentication, never stored in the clear on the machine.
Short-lived signed tokens, hashed passwords, separated roles.
The service and the vault run on your equipment; the technical support is in Québec.
A 30-minute demo on your own fleet: scheduling, restore, logs. No strings attached.
